-- Bigging up the patches --
Patches on clothes, be it denim, cotton, whatever has come back in a big way. Following some inspiration from tumblr and one of my fave youtubers Arden Rose, I was so happy when I came across these pair of jeans in Zara. You might know that Zoe sported these on snapchat and in her recent vlogs and I knew I had to have them! I mean, who doesn't want burgers and ice cream on their jeans? Since starting my blog in 2014, I've wanted to be that cool blogger with effortless trendy outfits - and now I think I'm well on my way! (I also discovered Lazy Oaf through tumblr recently so when I get paid, I want to buy a key piece from there. Because patches!!)
These mum fit jeans certainty don't feel like Primark quality. They're super comfy and feel like how denim should feel. And since losing a little more baby fat, I fit nicely into an 8 with still a bit of room around the waist. (Yay!) The stripy top doesn't make the outfit too noisy and your eyes can naturally be drawn to the super cool print and patches. As backpacks are in, I pulled out my old fave which my aunt gave to me and I love how it all ties in and becomes something you can put on tumblr. And of course I have my trusty beautiful high tops from Cath Kidston. These are just amazing and go with everything.
PS. Can you tell I'm still obsessed with The 1975??
What have been your favourite effortless outfits so far??
