Summer scent added to basket!
The last drop of a beloved Zara eau de parfum was dispensed the other day and as it settled into my skin, I was thinking about what to venture into next...
That's when a tik tok ad very cleverly sold the Glossier "You" fragrance. A bottle that promised base notes that would enhance your natural fragrance and therefore making you smell essentially more delicious.
A number of things rang through my mind:
1. Fragrances naturally settle sweeter on me which means I'm blessed with a good ph balance.
2. I do LOVE smelling sweet.
3. My partner reminds me he likes other fragrances and not "that Lush sh**"
With a blend of iris, pink pepper, ambrette seeds and ambrox, these base notes of the fragrance settle deep into the skin and bring out the more warmer sweeter notes of your personal smell.
I tried it in store and immediately fell in love and this also immediately fell into my basket. And I have no regrets. I love how it brings out my sweet side, and I'm looking forward to seeing what my partner thinks of my new staple fragrance.
To be honest, you cannot have more proof that it smells good as I got complimented by the girl behind the bar in Simmons on how nice I smelt! (This was about an hour or so after I first did the spritz) And if I really do like it, I might buy the bigger bottle...
What's your go to fragrance?
♥
You must make haste!
Dear reader,
One must embrace the riveting delights of what Lush Cosmetics has to offer this season in the embodiment of a beauty box that every lady in society must place her delicate fingers upon.
Yes, Lush REALLY DID bring out a Bridgerton Kitchen themed box this month and when its floral splendor landed on my doorstep, I had to scurry into my chambers to feast upon the contents...
Lush Kitchen is a monthly subscription box offered at £35 a month, and you receive five exclusive products a girl cannot get anywhere else - not even in the stores.
So to have this edition was pretty special for me. And let me tell you, the offerings of the sweetly floral Keep It Fluffy shower gel, creamy jasmine scented Tender is the Night body lotion and Bridgerton themed products such as the coconut and vanilla scented Family Before All soap. And not to forget the deliciously chocolate scented Lady Danbury bath bomb and a returning Lush classic: Royalty bath bomb.
I shall be courting these products for the rest of the season.
*this post is purely a fun little review, though unfortunately you cannot order this box, you can still find the full Lush x Bridgerton collection
on the website.

They're just so good at it...
Life happens, you grow as a person, you make new friends. But there's been one constant in my life, apart from my undying love for snacks... Soap and Glory!
It's been a while since I welcomed this brand back into my bathroom, and after a little roam around Boots last month, these hopped into my basket.
Yes, I'm personifying these products, cos they defo wanted to come home with me...
I'm really getting more into body scrubs, so the perfect zen warming body scrub was used almost immediately. I wouldn't say it's the most warming scrub, but it feels perfectly exfoliating to get my lizard skin feeling smoooooooth. (I'm kidding, I don't have weird hard skin haha) And also this has a really nice calming lavender scent.
The smoothie star body wash is actually the sweetest most delicious vanilla biscuit scent. And in the name of hydrating, it's really softening on the skin as well as being nice and cleansing. Soap and Glory know how to do body washes!
Lastly, to finish off the routine, the righteous butter body lotion with the original pink scent is truly the OG. I can't get enough of it and it sinks so well into the skin, which I think is quite hard to find with certain body lotions I go for...
These have been really cemented into my routine and made showering so much more joyful and sweeter. And also let me add, the packaging just looks cute in my bathroom. It's a win win!
Are you a fan of Soap and Glory too?

Jazzing up my skincare!
I wish that title was a clickbait kinda way to make you tap/click onto this post... But I undeniably can't thank Boots and their botanics range enough for saving my skin.
Long story short guys, my face went through a weird acne/eczema phase, so I turned to the Boots own brand face wash and hydrating serum combination of cannabis satvia seed oil, aloe vera and cucumber (among other ingredients). It legit saved my stressed skin - but those products are for another time!
Today, I'm showing off the products I've moved onto after my skin returned to its usual state...
What I love applying to my face...
When was the last time I wrote about my favourite beauty products?
If I can't remember then it must have been a WHILE.
So, to redeem myself, I'm writing this post about the products I've fallen back in love with. Because I don't know about you, but lockdown has made me become suuuper lazy when it comes to makeup. And the past week I've been making myself wear more makeup - and I've felt so much better for it!
Treat your skin!
It's been a hot minute since I talked about skincare on my blog.
(Like I can't even remember when the last time was...)
I have a few favourites I want to share with you guys, so read on as these are affordable and down right delicious for the skin in winter! Yup, I said delicious.
