And feeling pretty in colours
A few days ago I made an impulse purchase. And it was on this pastel rainbow cardigan from Lazy Oaf. I have a number or reasons - or excuses if you want to use that word to why I needed to part with my money for this. (a.) I wanted a cardigan that wasn't black and (b.) I wanted a cardigan that was from Lazy Oaf.
All the things in reach...
The last time I wrote one of these posts was
way back in 2016 when I didn't have a cute plant pot for my succulent and it was generally super cluttered. But I recently stripped back my room a bit, did a declutter, finished off my shelves (which you can see
in this post here) and I'm super happy now.
And that are super delicious
My unspoken goal for 2018 was to eat more healthy snacks - and not always reach for that pack of pretzels or cakes when I'm feeling peckish. ESPECIALLY when I'm doing a mid shift and I need to take in food to eat before work.
And also the comfiest
I've acquired a few favourite staple outfit pieces recently. And I thought why not chuck them all into one outfit?? As you can tell by the post title, I'm veeery excited for Spring. Apart from the season of Christmas, and Autumn, Spring is probably my FAVOURITE season ever.
Just the right temperature of weather, light clothing but can still wear layers oh AND BLOSSOM.
A love letter to my fave app
Ok, I know most people are a little frustrated with Instagram at the moment. So much so that engagement and growth is zilch. And I totally sympathize with the fact that if your whole career is on social media, then it must be even more hard.
But for me that isn't really a big deal. Instagram, like this little blog, is a fun hobby for me. I love the engagement I do receive and give out, the act of sharing photos, etc. And I thought it would be good to give five reasons why I will always love this little app. Even if it's a love hate kind of relationship. And hopefully, if you're feeling down about it, you might see how wonderful it is...
A few new bits for my collection
So, I know that Christmas was ages ago. Getting nearer to two months now. Welp. But I haven't got round to reviewing some products that I received on the big day!
I was kindly gifted three products from the mark. brand on AVON. I've never used AVON beauty products before, so I was pretty stoked to try these out.
I bought a load of new bits for my room yay
I feel like every New Year, or there abouts, I make an interior post about my room. But every time, I always have some new bits to show you!! This time round it's a whole host of goodies from Primark and Oliver Bonas woo.
Sweet smelling goodies
Soooo the other day Lush released the second of their Spring collections (well, I call them Spring collections but who knows if that's the correct term...) And it was their Mother's Day haul whoop! I was super excited to buy ALL THE THINGS - which seem to be all for me and not my mum haha - and I thought I would pop all of them in a post to share with you!
We have the offerings of new innovations, scents and favourites transformed into new products. So, without further ado, here's what I popped into my basket. Or excitedly thrown...
My fave hobby turns four omg
Can you believe it kids?? Today's the day my blog turns four years old. FOUR. YEARS .OF. BLOGGING. I remember sitting down one evening and just signing up to Blogger on a whim. And four years later, look where I am??
I can honestly say that I think my photography has drastically improved since the first year, I have the most amazing readers who always comment. And sure I don't earn money off this, nor do I aim to make this a future career. (I mean I admire those who do have it but I'd be crap lmao) But, it's a place where I can combine my love of photography and writing together.
Currently in the first couple of months...
So many things have happened in the past month and we're only in February. I guess this year will turn out to be my favourite. *fingers crossed kids* In between work and meeting up with pals, I've been feeding my cravings, discovering cool shows and keeping up with my hobbies... And I thought it was about time I filled you in...
My updated 'to read' list
I just finished reading Les Mis - which you can read about in my
faves post here - and now my heart is empty. And that was the last new book I had from Christmas. So I needed a load of new books for the new year (if you can still call it that considering we're in February now lmao). I hit up my fave book store Waterstones and bought a few novels that were on my
goodreads to read list!
I'm veeeery excited to read them and also stoked to share them with you guys, so let's get into it...
My bloglovin' feed for you all to see
You probably realised a loooong time ago that I kinda stopped my 'Sunday Snuggle Down' posts. I fell out of love with the name and it gradually became a chore every weekend to sift through my Bloglovin' saves and choose posts to share. It just wasn't fun anymore.
But that doesn't mean I don't love these sorts of posts. I want to do these again as there have been so many posts from amazing bloggers that deserve to be shared. My aim is to do these posts maybe once a month or every two?? So, if you want to discover more bloggers, then jump on and come along for the ride!!... Read on for this month's faves...
