-- What products made my 2015 --
It's now only two days until 2016 which feels like the most unreal and craziest thing ever. I feel like 10 years ago is still 1990-something. What. Anyway, this year I have certainly tried and found my staple favourite products, whether that's skincare, makeup or hair. I thought rather than do a general December favourites, I would do a year one so here goes...
001: Beauty:
Benefit Roller Lash:
This is probably one of my favourite mascaras. You really do get defined lashes and I just really love the quality and the packaging. I've used it every day since I bought it and haven't used anything else since. This is certainly up there with my Soap and Glory Thick and Fast!
Benefit The POREFessional Primer:
Best. Primer. Ever. My makeup stays on for ages and this just creates a really nice base for my makeup to go on. I really do think this will continue to be a staple in my makeup routine as it feels so nice to apply and is currently lasting for ages.
Seventeen Stay Time Concealer:
This concealer really makes my under-eyes much less darker. I love how light it is and how it cancels out my dullness which is huge bonus for me because I hate my under-eyes. I definitely think this product is marginally better than the collection one. *shock horror*
MAC in Velvet Teddy:
The only nude lipstick I have, but probably the only one that I need. I just love it so so much. It goes with every look and just applies so nicely and doesn't dry out my lips at all. The staying power is amazing. Oh MAC thank you for creating this lovely colour.
I Heart Makeup Naked Chocolate Palette:
I only bought this because (1.) my points on my Superdrug was running out and (2.) everyone was raving about the palette. I haven't used any other palette since the day I bought it. The quality is epic for £8 and the colours I feel are so creamy and are so blend-able that I'm starting to not like the quality of my Sleek palettes.
Seventeen Define and Conquer Contour Kit:
A very recent purchase but I feel that I can't go a day without using this. My cheeks look more defined and it might be all in my head but my nose looks thinner... It's so easy to use and it a lovely recent staple to my ever growing collection.
002: Skincare, Haircare and more:
OGX Renewing Argan Oil of Morocco Shampoo and Conditioner:
The best hair care combo I've used from a drugstore. I never really liked brands like Herbal Essenses as I found they tended to dry out my hair. But you get what you pay for with these as my hair feels so soft and hydrated after each use. I love this brand so much.
Lush Let The Good Times Roll Facial Cleanser:
I've never used a cleanser from Lush until I was a Christmas temp, so to try this changed my whole cleansing routine. I love the stuff and it smells too good to eat. This really helps to get rid of any lingering makeup and soften my face even more. It's probably my favourite out of all the Lush cleansers I've tried.
Zoella Beauty Scrubbing Me Softly Body Scrub:
I love this product from Zoe's Tutti Fruity range. This smells so so good and really makes my skin feel really soft. I've recently been adding it along with my evening pamper routines and I probably will have to buy another pot soon.
Bourjois Nail Paint Remover:
I probably won't buy another brand after this as my nail paint just comes off so easily and quickly I'm just in love. And I don't have to worry about using 1000 cotton pads. If this lasts as long as I hope, this will become an amazing nail care staple.
Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub:
Last but not least, Mint Julips is my favourite lip scrub. Every day before applying makeup, I exfoliate my lips and add some lip balm so I can apply lipstick. My lips have never been in better condition after consistently using this. Simple but effective ingredients hooray.
What are your overall product favourites of 2015?
