The Birthday Boots Treat

-- What goodies have I got here? --

So, this Sunday it's my 19th birthday (I feel so old!) and I thought I have about £45 worth of points on my Boots card... why not give myself a little treat. After the little splurge yesterday I still have £8 left on my card woo hoo. I thought to do a collective haul and then do seperate reviews of what I think about them in the coming weeks - so look out for that. But here's a first introduction...

001: Grounded Coffee Scrub in Grapefruit:
This was in a beauty favourites section of Boots and it sounded so amazing and looked so tumblr it just went straight in my basket. It sounds like a thorough rough scrub, and if you know me well, you'll know I love anything to do with coffee. I'm itching to try this, but first let me take a few pics for my Instagram.

002: Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask:
I saw Estee Lalonde mention this in a Boots haul of her own and I was really intrigued. I know I've said that most drugstore masks I react to, but I'm just really hoping that this is the one where I don't. It sounds so nice and perfect for a pamper evening. *Fingers crossed guys*

003: OGX Moroccan Sea Salt Spray:
I want to bring something different to my hair washing routine, so I thought why not try this bad boy? Sea salt is known to give volume and texture and I love OGX products so it sounded like the perfect product to go for. I was looking for the Bumble and Bumble version, but this sounded like the next best one to go for. I can't want to try it out!

004: Soap and Glory Shower Jelly in Clean On Me:
These jellies from S&G are a brand new range, and as someone who really loves Lush shower jellies, I wanted to see how these would measure up. Clean On Me is the original pink scent which reminds me of summer when I took a travel size lotion of the scent on holiday with me. Ahh I love it. I've read a couple of good reviews on it, so I'm determined to give it some love.

Have you guys bought anything from Boots recently?

  1. Want a fab few products. The coffee scrub is something I'm itching to try as well as that sea salt spray. OGX is such a great brand, only learned until now they do a salt spray, excellent! Great post.

  3. I hadn't heard about the Soap&Glory shower jellies- normally nothing from that brand gets past me, I'm so addicted! The grounded scrub also looks good- is that in normal boots? Lovely post (I've just come across your blog and I'm loving it), also happy birthday! Lydia Eve, www.lydia-eve.blogspot.co.uk xx
