Autumn Makeup

16.9.15

-- Have a little nosey at what I'm planning
to wear for the coming months --

When that burst of coldness comes in and the leaves start to get that beautiful purple/gold tinge, that's when you know Autumn is approaching. I've recently gathered and started using the products that will hold me on for the winter months. I've made slight changes, but my makeup will generally be the same as the summer.

I think when the weather gets colder and harsher, we need to look after my skin more. I'm planning to do an updated winter routine soon, but for now I want to show you what I'm about to use for the autumn... You'll be pleased to see I've given the products links so you can find them on the Boots website too! <3

Base:
Rimmel Lasting Finish Full Coverage Foundation in Ivory - I like to move onto this from the Match Perfection, as having a more higher coverage in the colder months makes me feel better about my skin. I don't even get that many spots, but I don't really like having a really thin base. I'm really funny when it comes to that, but the red bottle is the best out there and beats other brands hands down.
Seventeen Stay Time Concealer - This one is much lighter than my Collection one but gives the same amount of consistency in coverage, so it's perfect for making my under-eyes really bright. So not only do I look awake, I look more alive haha.

Brows and others:
Soap and Glory Archery Brow Bar - I've had to get another one, but seriously, this is one of the best products out there. You get the wax, brow colour and a highlighter. It's probably now one of my main staples and I can't wait to give some loving to the recent replacement.
Sleek Original Eye Palette - I love this palette because it has amazing quality colours for £7.99 and the gold and coppery shades are perfect for the autumn. (I'm planning to get the Makeup Revolution dupe for Urban Decay soon because that also has some pretty autumn neutrals in!)
Soap and Glory Love at First Blush - Of course you've got to have some colour. And this gives a beautiful pink shimmery glow to your cheeks. Will always be in love with this as I fall in love with it every time I use it in the morning.
Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara - One of my holy grail products. I like to swap between this and my nearly used up Benefit Roller Lash. It will always be a staple in both summer and autumn.
MAC Matte in Velvet Teddy - I love wearing nude lips, especially in the colder months and I hope to get a more berry toned one at the weekend ehehe.

What's included in your Autumn staple makeup?

    1. The original palette is one of the best, I think with the brand in general I feel like I don't need to buy high end products :)
