Relax to the max
The best kind of plans are literally doing nothing.
Am I wrong though?
Having been off sick for the majority of this week, it's been a bit weird, and I've had to entertain myself while feeling sore on the sofa.
THEN. It got me thinking about intentional sofa days - especially at the weekend! So, the introvert in me got brainstorming...
Aaaaaand, I'm here today to give you a few ideas on how to do what I call: The ULTIMATE Weekend and Chill!!
You're welcome.
001: snacks on the sofa!
The most important thing in my eyes is the food. And you've gotta do it right! You have the option of going in with the classic crisps (Proper Chips are my obsession at the moment) or something that would compliment a big steamy mug of coffee - like chocolate.
And then during the main eating hours, go the complete opposite and have a takeaway of choice. OF COURSE I wouldn't say no to a pizza...
002: good ol' reading material!
Nothing beats a book. Or a magazine. The weekend is the prime time to treat your eyes to the pleasing sight of words that will help you get lost in a different world for a few hours. In these times myself, I've managed to read about 100 pages. It's pure bliss.
003: become a mini cinema!
The other way to go is turning your living room into a cinema. Once the snacks and beverages are sorted, it's time to bring out the movies you've been dyyyying to watch or that Neflix series that has been on you 'My List' for an eternity. Make it social and have pals round too! (Just don't let them steal from your takeaway portion)
004: be practical and productive!
If the above is **somehow** a bore fest for you. You could always turn it around and turn it into a cute little office session. Have a blog you don't update often enough? Spend the weekend sprucing it up with fresh content and planning your next venture. (Alternatively, revive your tumblr - which I've done recently - follow me on blossompizza!)
How do you weekend and chill?
