And at great prices!
Apart from Christmas. (My favourite time of year - obviously!) I do love the whole celebration of Autumn and more specifically Halloween.
It's more to do with being able to have spooky fairy lights and pumpkins around my room AND watching all the spooky films! Hocus Pocus anyone?
I did one of these posts for Blogmas for festive decorations, but I thought why not do an Autumn/Halloween version. Because you can get some epic bargains if you know where to look...
001: poundland:
Aside from being able to buy bargain cleaning products, food, and cosmetics, etc. Poundland ALWAYS have an amazing selection of spooky decorations. Whether it's for a party or for around the house. They have fairy lights (or bat/pumpkin ones haha), tea light holders, signs, and loads more. Aaaall £1 each!! So you can deck out your space with 10 things even for £10!!
002: homesense:
If you're super serious about Autumn and all things spooky and want to go all classy, then Homesense/TK Maxx is for you. They have everything from door autumn wreaths to felt pumpkins, cutlery, candles and even the creepiest but coolest snow globes. But the snow is bats and skulls. *whhoooooo*
003: supermarkets:
Ok, they mostly offer accessories and bits and bobs for parties - and kids costumes - but if you're into sticking a glittery broom in the corner of your fireplace then you might like what the supermarkets have to offer. And of course, the bigger the store, the more selection they might have.
004: flying tiger:
Ahh the classic in my opinion. You can get the coolest stationary, home accessories and party bits for Halloween here! There's also some general gorgeous autumnal homeware bits to grab! Flying Tiger just always delivers - and it's at bargain prices! Take that Urban Outfitters!
Where do you love to go to get Autumnal decs?

Definitely! I’m itching to buy everything haha
DeleteI haven't been to Poundland in ages, but I totally should to get myself some autumn decorations. Primark also has some nice bits and bobs sometimes, I am still debating whether I should get one of their Halloween headbands haha

Me neither until recently and that’s what inspired me to do this post! You totally should they look so cute! I also love the trick and treat earrings they have but I can’t get them because I don’t even have pierced ears haha

Yeeesss I got very excited last year when they had the nutcracker decorations because they reminded me of Liberty London ones for some reason x
DeleteI was in Poundland the other day and all the Halloween and even some Christmas stock was out. I noticed a large selection of fairy lights for only a pound each which was promising. It’s one of my favourite shops too! Those Halloween snow globes in Homesense sound amazing as well. Great idea for a blog post by the way. :-) xx

The fairy lights are always really good for the price - especially if you just want to jazz up a shelf! I'm glad you loved the post x
DeleteThanks for the tips! As far as supermarkets go, I think Asda is usually the best for Halloween decor. I love Poundland and TK Maxx, and would also add Home Bargains to this list.
ReplyDeleteYes ASDA is pretty good generally :)
DeletePoundland is so fab for halloween decorations, I find them decent quality as well!
