And snap!

Whilst everyone has been posting camera roll dumps on Instagram of their breaks away and weekly updates to followers, I've been wanting to tap in (or rather develop) some core physical memories of my time off frolicking in the sunshine. The birth of this came about last May when my dear partner treated me to a trip to Southend for my birthday and I decided to get nostalgic and bring a little Fujifilm camera with me.

And it was safe to say, that's where I got the bug for capturing moments that were special to me that I could have in my hands, skin to paper, that any instagram or iphone photo could not.

My complete irrational fear of "what if's" would be soothed by the simple click and flash of a disposable camera. iykyk. And lovingly developed for £22.99.

This year, I bought a classic. The Kodak Funsaver.

I was treated to over 30 exposures to play with and of course brought it with me on this year's holiday. Hastings. You can probably tell this small bean of girl loves an English seaside town - here's to manifesting a European getaway next year!

To me it was a no brainer, and the easiest camera to use, with the most stunning results of warm hues and the recognisable disposable grain. As I was shooting most of the photos you see in this post, just imagine a partner grinning cheesily at me and laughing as I snap everything I could in sight to have in my sentimental box. "What? It's for the memories!" LOL.

We've got a lovely selection of adventure golf, beach huts, sipping cocktails and absolutely sliving my socks off with jenga in a mate's garden. And the best part is, you don't need to be a professional to have fun with this! In fact, spotting what you love, pointing, shooting and then not knowing how your photo looks until you develop it is all part of the charm and fun in Funsaver.

I do admit, my efforts of festive cheer last year were met with dark mysterious and "What's that supposed to be?" photos. It was not my finest hour, but that was a completely different camera.

So, I am telling you now. As the warmer and sunnier days of tapas in the parks are approaching, I urge you and anyone to keep their memories alive in the traditional way of disposables. They are not to be left behind in early 2010's school trips.

My mission and vow to myself is to pick up a Kodak every time I know I have a special trip coming up. The softie of a sweet flavoured Maom in me also can never say no to taking photos whenever these trips are with her partner...

Will you delve into disposables?

They're just so good at it...

Life happens, you grow as a person, you make new friends. But there's been one constant in my life, apart from my undying love for snacks... Soap and Glory!

It's been a while since I welcomed this brand back into my bathroom, and after a little roam around Boots last month, these hopped into my basket.

Yes, I'm personifying these products, cos they defo wanted to come home with me...

I'm really getting more into body scrubs, so the perfect zen warming body scrub was used almost immediately. I wouldn't say it's the most warming scrub, but it feels perfectly exfoliating to get my lizard skin feeling smoooooooth. (I'm kidding, I don't have weird hard skin haha) And also this has a really nice calming lavender scent.

The smoothie star body wash is actually the sweetest most delicious vanilla biscuit scent. And in the name of hydrating, it's really softening on the skin as well as being nice and cleansing. Soap and Glory know how to do body washes!

Lastly, to finish off the routine, the righteous butter body lotion with the original pink scent is truly the OG. I can't get enough of it and it sinks so well into the skin, which I think is quite hard to find with certain body lotions I go for...

These have been really cemented into my routine and made showering so much more joyful and sweeter. And also let me add, the packaging just looks cute in my bathroom. It's a win win!

Are you a fan of Soap and Glory too?
