-- Be the queen of the ocean with these colours --
My palette finding stories always start with the fact that I go into the drugstore - be it Boots or sometimes Superdrug - and come out with another gem... (While also getting what I needed) At the weekend, it was no exception as not only did I come out with my makeup cotton pads, but also this gorgeous summery dreamy palette from the much loved Makeup Revolution. The name of the product is just as amazing and it's called Mermaids Forever. Not only was I intrigued when I saw the iridescent blue packaging and the name, but the tester tray showed all the colours I was looking for in the perfect summer palette.
Much like many other drugstore palettes, the names of these colours are very ocean and mermaid appropriate to the name of the product, and the actual colour pay off is just what I expected from one of my favourite brands. In my collection I have two of the chocolate palettes and the iconic palettes so the quality of this was no surprise to me. If you've never tried anything Makeup Revolution products, you are seriously missing out! These colours are not in any way powdery and dry, they're not far off creamy and super pigmented so it makes it easy to blend and create billions of looks.
My particular favourites from this palette which I've used in the past few days are Magic (the light pink), Myth (the pearl pink above it) and Seashell which is amazing for highlighting the inner corners of the eyes (two colours to the left of Magic). The top picture are the true colours compared to the second, and for £8, you get beautiful packaging which is near high end and 32 colours. 32 COLOURS! And not forgetting the massive mirror which is just perfection... I'm for certain this will be a new staple for me as it has every colour I could possibly want in a palette - and if you're going on holiday it would be easier to just take this one. Once again, Makeup Revolution has not failed me.
Have any of you tried any Makeup Revolution eyeshadow palettes?
