-- With the month over it's
time for another recap --
February has come and gone, holy crap, and I've had to scramble together some favourites that I've been loving. And one might just surprise you haha. It hasn't been much of an entirely eventful month, but having it slightly relaxed before the big long haul of revision before my finals was nice.
Rimmel Lasting Finish Nude Foundation:
I actually prefer this over the Match Perfection, it has thicker coverage and blends in really well. I use the colour Ivory, and it's slightly coloured so makes my pale face look nice. It doesn't cake and essentially creates a nude look. So basically, it says what it does haha. I tried the fuller coverage - the one with the red cap - and I do love that one, but if I want something thick but not too thick, this would be the one. And in honestly, Rimmel can't do any wrong with their foundations, so I won't be rushing out to change brands in a hurry.
£7.99
Lush Tea Tree Water:
This cute little bottle is a lovely refreshing toner, and it comes with a pump so you can just spray how much you want onto a cotton pad. This is so helpful as you don't want to use too much. It's antibacterial and antiseptic so after cleansing, you just put it on and the lovely smell of tea tree makes you feel like it's doing goodness to your skin. And I haven't had a spot come up since I started using it, it's worth the money and it's small enough to take with you on weekends away and on holidays.
£4.25
Soap & Glory Love At First Blush:
This honestly the best blusher I have ever had. I've even neglected my nearly finished blusher from Natural Collection. It comes in segments of four colours, you just swirl them all together onto the blusher brush and it create the most beautiful subtle pink shade. It's also shimmery and creates a natural effect, if there's one drug store blusher to get if you can't afford high end, seriously this would be the one! Also, who can't resist the cute packaging?
£11
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara:
I know what you're thinking: but you didn't really like it? Well, it didn't do what it said on the tin with the whole curling lash thing, but it does define my eyes wonderfully. I love it as it makes my eyelashes look fuller and nicer. Worth the sample, and I've been considering whether I would actually fork out £19.50 for it... It's cute and perfect for fitting into my travel makeup bag for days out. The ELLE issue was also interesting to read, I love the fashion and the design.
