What I've Currently Been Up To In My Life

Currently in the first couple of months...

So many things have happened in the past month and we're only in February. I guess this year will turn out to be my favourite. *fingers crossed kids* In between work and meeting up with pals, I've been feeding my cravings, discovering cool shows and keeping up with my hobbies... And I thought it was about time I filled you in...

001: watching: dirk gently's holistic detective agency! This one is a pretty recent discovery and I'm already in love with it! It's pretty hard to explain as there's A LOT going on but even though it's a little dark, it's also really funny. The best way to put it, is that it's like Sherlock, Stranger Things AND Orphan Black aaaall in one show!

002: reading: not working! I mentioned this book in my previous post, and it's a wonderful read so far. I love lighthearted funny novels and makes a nice break from Les Miserables. If you can't be bothered to go to my previous post and read about it, here's the plot below:

"Claire Flannery has had more than a few sleepless nights lately. Maybe she shouldn't have walked out of her job with no idea what to do next. Maybe she should think before she speaks -- and maybe then her mother would start returning her calls. Maybe she should be spending more time going to art galleries, or reading up on current affairs, and less time in her pyjamas, entering competitions on the internet. Then again, maybe the perfect solution to life's problems only arises when you stop looking for it..."

003: smelling: tk maxx coconut candle! Ok, I bought this because it has a pretty design on it. It's shiny purple spotted marble with a wooden lid. It's massive and I only paid £7.99 for it. It smells like coconut shampoo so it's tropical and fresh and really cheers me up when I burn it. I'll try to remember to include it in my Feb faves so you guys can see it...

004: eating: hippeas sweet n' smokin! I've only had these once, but they changes my life. 91 calories of puffed chickpea goodness (I don't feel guilty munchinh on these). I've been trying to avoid eating crisps a lot and swapped them for these and they are soooo good that I want to eat them again. ASDA have a massive pack for £1 which is a hint that I should stock up.

005: listening: thirty seconds to mars! My favourite eeeeveeerr band, whom I've loved since 2010 and who inspired my blog name, have released another song - Dangerous Night. And I have a serious obsession with it. It's miles away from what their sound used to be like, and some people aren't happy, but I think it's one of my favourite songs from them! If I love Marina and the 1975 with all my heart, then it was certain I'd love it. I'll link the audio below:
