But I soooo wanted them
You know when you can't stop thinking about certain beauty products, and they just circle around your head for ages. And then you give in and just order them??
That happened last week.
I spent MORE money on drugstore goodies from Superdrug. I'm usually a Boots gal, but brands like Revolution are killiiiiinng the game at the moment, so I've been going there more often.
I originally made the order to get the new sophdoesnails palette, as I'm still obsessed with her first one. And then other products *accidentally* fell into my virtual basket...
In this post I'm going to take you quickly through each one, and then in the coming days/weeks, I'll posting full reviews on them!! Sooooooo, let's get into it kids!
001: revolution soph x extra spice eyeshadow palette: (£10.00)
Like I said, this was the main reason for my online order as this isn't available in stores yet (at time of typing this!) Look at how pretty aaaall the colours are! I was sold when I first saw 'LA Sun' and 'Twenty One' to be honest. They're the prettiest gold and red I've ever seen and I can't wait to experiment for my blog review.
002: i heart revolution chocolate highlight and illuminate palette: (£6.00)
I'm a SUCKER for gimmicky products and I especially love their original chocolate and naked chocolate eyeshadow palettes, so when I saw this I HAD TO HAVE IT. I also love a good old highlighter and having one already from this sister brand, this went straight in my basket. The product design is super cute and also perfect for travel!
003: revolution pro foundation drops in f3: (£7.00)
I'm going through a phase of being completely bored of my base makeup routine as I change my eye products sooo much. So when I tested this on my hand in store, I knew this would be worth the purchase! I bought this in F3 as I'm C2 in concealer and I wanted a foundation that was *slightly* darker. I'll let you guys know what it's like soon. (FYI my skin type is normal/combination when it's my time of the month lol)
004: barry coconut infusion in flip flop and surfboard: (£4.99 each)
I had my eye on these for aaaages but after sorting through my current collection and getting rid of old paints - we're talking +3 years old lmao - I let myself pick these up. Because it's basically summer these were right up my street with their effect being conditioning due to the coconut and SUCH tropical shades and names!
005: revolution pro mischief mattes eyeshadow palette: (£8.00)
Last, but by no means least this is yet another Revolution product. I told you, they're amazing and therefore I will spend all my money on their products... This I feel is a dupe for the Morphe 35B palette, even though it has matte and shimmers, while the Revolution is all matte. But the colours are veeeery similar. And since discovering JKissa on YouTube, I've fallen in love again with bright colourful makeup - so this was perfect to add to my very small bright palette collection haha. (PS. I keep wanting to call it Mischief Managed lmao)
What new products have you treated yourself to recently?

I decided to treat myself to the Sooh palette and can not wait to start playing with it! Cannot wait to hear your thoughts on the nail varnish though as I’ve been looking at them for a while to add to my collection.

Oooh have fun!! I put on the lilac colour (surfboard) yesterday and I'll see how long it lasts and then I'm using the orange hehe - so the post is coming soon :3 xx
DeleteLove the title of the post haha! I made a Revolution order specifically to get the Soph palette too, and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it. The Barry M nail polishes look super pretty too xx

Haha thank youu! :P The post should be up this weekend at some point! And they really are, I'm loving the lilac at the moment! x
DeleteI can't blame you, these palettes are both gorgeous! I never go into Superdrug because for some reason I think I won't find anything I like compared to Boots, but it makes me want to go and have a look at Revolution now. They really seem to be the brand worth trying at the moment, much like NYX a couple years ago!

Definitely check Revolution out! NYX are still my go to generally and their Worth The Hype mascara is also worth a check out hehe
DeleteI bought the soph x revolution palette and I honestly love it! I've never properly tried a makeup revolution palette but I am so impressed with the pigmentation of pretty much all the shades!

Not going to lie it’s probably the best quality palette I’ve had from the brand putting aside the new revolution pro ones :D
DeleteThank you guys for all your lovely comments! *all the hugs!*
