Christmas | The Present Mission

As of today, there is only two weeks and three days till Christmas Day! *Eeek* I am so excited and I'm even more excited to give the presents I got for my friends - which are featured in the picture above. It can be hard to find the perfect gift for a family or friend while it is within your price range, being on a budget myself it was fun and kind of easy to find the gifts I wanted for my friends. As a hint, they are all from the same shop and beauty related haha. You might be struggling right now, so I wanted to compile a few tips to spur you on to treat your friend/s to something they will remember.

Give little treats:
I know it sounds quite cheap, but if you have a tight budget for everyone, you can get packets of chocolate and a couple of little treats like a nail paint or lipstick. It's a nice touch as it's not a commercialized gift pack and it can be a cute little stocking filler for your friends. There's £1 chocolates available in Superdrug and there's a nice packet of limited edition Cadbury chocolates for £1 in there too. (Ooh) Putting all that in a little bag with a couple of beauty goodies, like a face mask and nail paint and tied with a ribbon, can create something special for a couple of things so plain. Bonus points if you put a cute little personalized message card in each bag.

Buy drugstore beauty gifts:
If you don't like the idea of making little gifts, then you can just get a few gift boxes for your friends, presuming that they like beauty. There are some really good deals at Superdrug - just casually throwing that out there. You can get a cute little gift starting at £3. Depending on how many friends you have and what you buy I think the maximum for five people would be around £20. Bargain.

Scour the internet for deals:
If you're one to stick to the online market, make sure before you buy that DVD boxset that your friend always wanted, that you search other places to see if you can get it cheaper. Not only do you save money, but you also have money to spend on your other friends. It's a win win!

Make a list of potential gifts:
Instead of entering a shop blind to what your friends or family might like, always make a list of what they may like. Doing a little research before can help you come up with shops with the best prices, as well a jotting down the prices to have a good idea of where your budget is going to land. I did this last week, and it really helped and I managed to get everything I needed.

So, if you haven't yet, take these tips into account and get shopping asap! You won't regret it, as it's one less thing to worry about. I hope you liked this little festive post, as this year I'm more in the mood for seasonal spirit than I was ever before. :D

Have a good day guys xx
