Autumn.

-- Praise, it is now the season for pumpkins, 

scarves, loads of blankets and fires! --

Can you feel the gradual coolness in the air? See the earlier sunsets and later sunrises? It is also now acceptable to wear that fluffy jumper you've been dying to wear since September 1st.

I've been gradually building up my excitement since the beginning of the month and it has started with Pinterest and then the shopping list plans for the season ahead. I'm hoping in October I can put those in action. I'm so excited for A/W to come that I'm actually writing this on 13th September. Oops. I'm sure, like me, you've been waiting to pull out the throws, coats and boots. I've been compiling a little list of things I'm looking forward to in the season, and now I can put it down here...

Having loads more pumpkin spice lattes

Watching more horror films

Finally being able to wear jumpers and coats

Having more soup

The Lush Halloween and Christmas range being released

Wearing darker lips and eyeshadow

Shorter days and early sunsets

Sitting in my dressing gown by the fire

Hot chocolate

Taking coffee in a flask to work

Acceptably having blankets on me during the day

Finally lighting my candles
