Sunday Snuggle Down #2

-- Cookies, baths and all things sweet --

Happy Sunday my lovelies! This week was filled with nice little things and I managed to bake for the first time this year - it's of course cookies and one them is featured in this picture haha. I also had time to colour in some more of my BBC Sherlock book which was relaxing and I hope I get to do more of that today. And finally, my week was rounded off with me getting another job - at Cath Kidston - which I'm so excited about but I'm also super nervous. If you didn't see the first post of the series last week, you can read it here. But for now, fill a cup up with coffee, stay in your pajamas and relax.

  • Firstly, I thought I would link the cookie recipe I used if you feel like having a relaxing and easy baking session today. And when I say easy, I really mean this recipe is so easy! Of course, I'm linking my own post but be warned... these cookies have improved in appearance haha. You can read the recipe here.
  • A little selfless self promo here but I finally bit the bullet and made a Lush instagram. I thought if I'm not working there at the moment, then why shouldn't I share this obsession online? If you're just as obsessed like me, you can follow it here - expect snazzy blogger like pictures. (I hope you like the username haha)
  • This week I felt so old when the newspapers announced that Dani Harmer who played Tracy Beaker is pregnant. My British childhood omg... You can read the article here. Prepare for feels.
  • A youtuber/blogger that I think you should be obsessed with is none other than Estée Lalonde! I love her new rebrand, her sophistication, her voice which is so perfect that I would want her to voice over a meditation session. Her blog is like a modern magazine and her youtube is the channel that I would love to have in my dreams. Perfect Sunday reading and viewing.
  • Another blogger related thing, but this post from Emma (EmmysBeautyCave) about improving your blog's SEO was really the pinnacle of change. I didn't even realise you could do these things - a must read!
  • Lastly, the perfect Netflix viewing at the moment is Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt! It's so ridiculous and over the top with a sprinkle of lighthearted comedy that I'm in love with it. You really need to give it a watch if you need a pick me up - just don't forget the pizza...
How was your week guys?

  1. I loved this post, it's so unique and I've never actually read anything like this before. I can't believe Dani Harmer is pregnant, Tracy Beaker was my childhood! x
