Disney x Cath Kidston: Winnie The Pooh Balloon Spot Dress

-- Let's go down to the Hundred Acre Wood --

Not long ago, Cath Kidston released their limited edition collab collection with Disney, and I could not tell you how excited I was to get my hands on this dress... You may know my style from previous blog posts as very 'out there' with patterns, patches and denim galore, but a girl like me does love a cute cutesy vintage style dress! Stick me on Portobello Road and I'll be right at home!

I've been a fan of Cath Kidston for a number of years now and I've got everything from bags to mugs, and well, Disney is basically my childhood. Winnie the Pooh in particular. Name it I had it. Giant Tigger toy, mugs, books, DVDs, books, etc. I was a hardcore child guys. The 5 year old inside me knew that this dress was for me, so I was quick to snap it up as soon as I could. (Note: when this post goes live, it is now sold out) I noticed a lot of bloggers have been paid to show off pieces, in particular the pajamas, but I thought I needed to share this with you...

The dress is a take on the classic 'Button Spot' print which is one of my favourites from the brand, and the fact that they've turned some of the spots into balloons which the main characters can hang off from melts my heart. Literally. Though I'm a size 8-10, I picked up a 10, and it fits really well and I feel all girly and cute wearing it. I'm planning to wear this for dinners out and almost everywhere.

I also picked up the ticket holder which features another classic print 'Bramley Sprig' and Pooh and Piglet are featured on there. Too cute! I can't wait to use it on my journeys to work and filling it with train tickets and of course my ID, I think I might just hold people up and create a queue by staring at how pretty it is whenever I bring it out haha.

Overall, I'm really happy I managed to get these, and now I'm looking forward to Mickey Mouse and Minnie coming later in the months to come. I might aim to get something different though... *squeals with excitement*

Did any of you manage to get anything from the collab?

  4. Oh my god this is the cutest dress in the world! I had not seen this piece of the collection before, but now I wish I had checked the Cath Kidston website when the collection came out - I went to a shop a few days ago and everything was sold out :( The card holder is amazing as well, they really nailed it with this collection.
