Essie Nails Fall Collection

-- Spice up your nails... --

What's one thing that's very close to being just as good as Pumpkin Spice Lattes? Yep, that's right: Autumn beauty collections! Aside from the numerous special eyeshadow palettes that are released in the beauty world, there's nothing better than lovingly applying layer after layer of beautiful fall colours to your nails. While I was shopping in Boots for the essentials of the month, (think makeup pads, foundation, mascara, etc...) I came across the Essie counter and my new nail paint radar came on. The coveted brand have released six gorgeous fall shades which are inspired by Tokyo's fashion scene and Autumn colours...

I picked up the shades 'playing koi' - a stunning burnt orange shade which screams seasonal - and 'kimono over' which gives all sorts of October and spooky vibes. I'm fully aware that I have a whole shelf full of shades and others that are along the same lines as these, but guys, you should know a gal can't have enough. Though really, you only need one layer, as it's gel formula covers nails so well and the thick flat brush is my ultimate favourite, I can't help applying two to help it last longer. I don't know if that's a fact but I believe it anyway. (I'm currently wearing 'playing koi' and it looks so smooth and on day three there's been no chips so far yay yay.

Other shades include a lovely ruby red, pastel pink, pastel blue and a muted looking grey. I was so very tempted to get the whole collection because you do get what you pay for. £7.99 each in this case. If you guys really want to spread your love of fall everywhere, make it your nails next! I presume it's a limited addition for the month, so get down to the drugstore!

Have you guys tried any Essie nail paints?
