The Beauty Favourites I Just Can't Live Without

What I would take to a desert island basically

I really really want to get back into blogging more about beauty. I've seemed to have fallen into the hole of lifestyle, and don't get me wrong I LOVE writing about life tit bits, but it's time to go back to one of my passions. Beauty!! *party poppers*

And today's post is actually my first ever collab (ooh) and it's with the lovely Charlie from Prettily Painted! We both decided upon writing about our beauty favourites, and I think it's a lovely way to try and get back into posting more about beauty - and seeing what's the best of the best...

001: Sleek Solstice highlighting palette:
Without a doubt, I mean call me a dodo if you find a product better, this is the best highlighter in the drugstore right now! Not even Benefit's High Beam can beat this little guy! This is so pigmented you could be blinded so get some sunglasses... I always receive compliments when I wear it so it's forever my go to and lasts for ages - nearly a year down the line and I've only hit pan on the cream highlight.

002: NYX Liquid Suede Sway lipstick:
If I'm a bit bored of a red or nude lip, I can always turn to this for a pop of colour. Not your average shade but I'm a gal that loves to be a bit 'out there' and this purple does the trick. Ok, I can get a couple of stares in Central London when wearing this but who gives a poop. I feel great in it and I somehow get so much confidence when wearing it. Also, did I mention it's not sticky and is so comfortable on the lips?

003: I Heart Makeup blushers:
Ok, I know MR and IHM are getting slated by bloggers at the moment (we won't go there) but these blushers are actually pretty amazing. I received this one for Christmas and if I want to take a break from my usual S&G ones, this is the go to. I love how peachy it is - can you tell I'm obsessed with peaches at the moment - and with one swipe, bam, instant colour to your cheeks!

004: Seventeen WOW! concealer:
I have the darkest under eyes in the universe, and only this can save me. Along with the colour corrector that goes underneath. It's thick and creamy and blends so well without being streaky. It's perfection and you can't argue when it's an absolute bargain.

005: MAC Velvet Teddy lipstick:
There's nothing I need to say about this one. Everyone and their dog loves it. Velvet Teddy has a matte formula that isn't drying and looks great with every makeup look I go for. (That's usually with my Too Faced Sweet Peach nowadays) If you're yet to buy a MAC lipstick, defo go for this one.

006: Zoella Beauty body mists:
How many times do I need to say I'm Zoella trash? Probably enough already... Her body mists are beautiful and last on the skin for hours. My favourite for this time of year is the one from the Tutti Fruity range - which is now discontinued meeeehh. So, I don't use it that often, but when I do, it reminds me of warm sunny days. And London isn't giving that to us right now. Why.

What are your beauty favourites at the moment?
