Falling In Love With Barry M's New Metallic Lip Kits

In recent months I've managed to curb my spending on impulsive beauty buys. That's probably why you haven't seen many new reviews around these parts...

But pay day came last week and I couldn't resist indulging in the new Barry M metallic matte me up lip kits. (After running to the supermarket to get bits for my mum of course!)

If you've been here a while, you'll know I bought the lip kit in Pose the other month, and I was SO impressed with the quality and the fact that I'm kind of halfway through it already, that I had to add two more to my collection.

The ones I picked up were 24 Carat (the orangey one) and Prestige (the red one that reminds me of christmas and tinsel - was that too early for a festive reference??) And as you can see from the pictures below, they're both really pigmented. I mean really really pigmented. I'm wearing 24 Carat and it's now my new instant favourite!



Not only are the lip liners soft enough to outline your lips - and they're not too soft that they don't break off - the lipsticks themselves dry to a beautiful matte and feel soooo comfortable on the lips. And the staying power is pretty epic! But fear not, it's easy to remove after a day's hard work...

I already know I'm going to be wearing these to death like the other ones... Plus there's also a more nudey metallic and a pink in the range if these don't look like they're for you! And if you want them you should hurry, these look like they're selling out faster than the original ones.
