Baths and burgers galore
This week, like any other week to be honest, has FLOWN BY! I got to meet up with friends, take time to self care and in between all that - go to work...
Seeing as my last FGT did so well, I thought I would throw another one out there today instead of my usual Sunday post. I just really want to change up my blog a bit and I've got some exciting posts coming soon!
Soooo, without further ado, read on guys to see what made my week...
001: Two self care baths: This is a RARE occasion for me to have two baths in one week. I obvs have showers, but it's sometimes really nice to throw in a bath bomb and sink into pretty lustre waters. I used Monsters' Ball (pictured above) and Thundersnow which are Halloween and Christmas products that I nabbed at the Lush Showcase. They'll be in stores soon and let me tell you, they were two of the best baths I've had to welcome in the season.
002: Wearing the cosiest jumpers to death: You probably saw my primark haul already, but if you know the red and white ones I'm talking about, then you'll understand why I've worn them almost every day on top of my work clothes. It's chilly travelling in the early morning guys, plus they're the best quality I've had from primark. Not sure what I'm on about, then watch my haul here!
003: Burger and friends: You know that warm fuzzy feeling you get after finally meeting up with friends after sooo long? Yeah, I had that the other day and we went to a local burger restaurant called Meat & Shake (there'll be a food post on that soon oooh) and it was so nice to catch up and have a gossip with good food.
004: Reading like there's no tomorrow: I recently finished Bill Bryson's A Walk in the Woods and have moved onto The Secret Life of Bees - and I'm already halfway through that. After A Levels it took me aagess to get back into the swing of reading at 1000 miles an hour. Because doing English Lit kinda sucks the enjoyment out of you. But this year has turned into a reading marathon and I'm loving it! (Need to do a book post soon if you guys are interested!)
005: Bloggers leaving their links: Bit of a random one, but I tweeted the other day for fellow bloggers to leave their links on my thread so I could discover more blogs. It worked at first and I found some lovely bloggers. Shout out to Emily Underworld and Everything Chessie! But it exploded and now it seems that anyone and everyone is wanting to promote themselves. Nothing wrong with that but half of those blogs that replied I wouldn't even read sadly...
What good things happened to you this week?
