Welcome to the stay at home club!
Yesterday I had my last shift at work, and from today I'm part of the stay at home club...
To get the deep out of the way first, my anxiety (like many) has risen very high recently. So, it's safe to say, that despite the craziness right now, I'm very glad to be home and safe in my little nest.
Like I've said on instagram, this is an important time to take a step back, reflect and really start looking after ourselves and those around us.
Aaaaaand, that's why I'm giving you guys a few ideas of how you can have a jolly time while at home!
This is coming from an introvert, who kind of thrives on peace and home comforts...
- Create a routine of things you can easily enjoy and follow (including housework)
- Have a 'to read' list and work through books you've been meaning to
- Make sure you're checking in with your mental health and pampering yourself reguarly
- Have a bath, with a face mask, and maybe even read a book!
- Get experimenting with food you've got in the house and create some tasty meals
- Do something creative like doodles, illustration or full on portrait art
- Exercise! It could be yoga or simple exercises to get you feeling good
- Face time friends! Desperate for that contact? Get virtual chatting!
- Of course if you have a Nintendo or any GC, get playing and relax for a few hours haha
That's just a few things that have come to mind.
