-- It's now officially Spring, so let's dig out our
bright lipsticks and dazzle the world --
Spring is now upon us, and oh my, am I excited! The days are longer, that ball of yellow light is staying for longer and there's only two months till my birthday aaah. I've uncovered five of my favourtie lipsticks that I love wearing in the S/S, and a couple that would be perfect.
Rimmel Kate Moss Matte Lipstick in 110 and 101:
These lovely lipsticks are a cult favourite, and no wonder why, they last for ages (though not as long as the MAC matte one) and the colours are so beautiful and perfect. I love wearing 110 as it's a fuschia orange and goes perfect with my summer looks, and the 101 is perfectly pink for spring tones especially when I want a muted look. They're actually pretty good quality for £4.49 and I really want Rimmel and Kate to bring out some more!
Sleek Matte in Heartbreaker:
Not going to lie, when I saw the name of this shade, it reminded me of Marina and the Diamonds' song Heartbreaker haha. This colour is a lovely bright poppy pink and certainly goes well if you're wearing a gold eyeshadow. However, it does dry out your lips a little even though it lasts, but the colour is perfect and I do wear it occasionally. Great for £4.99.
Bourjois Rouge Edition in Rose Tweed:
This lipstick is so creamy and moisturising, I just can't... And the shade is perfect if you want to go all au natural and Californian. Because girls over there look amazing with natural makeup. Also, it's good for the 90's look, and I've been wearing it more and more, actually it's the only one I'm reaching for out of my Bourjois collection. You certainly get what you pay for with £7.99!
MAC Matte in All Fired Up:
*Gets on knees and bows* Holy Grail! Holy Grail! This is the best matte I have, it applies roughly but lasts for 10 years, even when I eat, I forget I have it on and it doesn't come off. It's a beautiful pink shade and goes with everything I have, and I know I will be reaching for this all the time during the summer. (Totally contradicting myself about the beauty budget post I did on Monday) You know you really want to spend £15.50 on this, you won't regret it!
What are your favourite S/S lipstick staples?

Gorgeous picks, I need to try the Kate Moss lipstick in 110 as it sounds lovely. All Fired Up looks stunning, and has been added to my wishlist :) For S/S I’m looking forward to getting more wear out of my MAC Viva Glam Miley :)
