DIY | Summer Projects

-- I just need something to do to get creative
and to get stuck into --

Ah summer, how you shine like a beacon of hope and welcome me into your arms and offer me my favourite flavour of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. (Half Baked if you should know) Days out and endless hours of chill is what is needed. I wanted to set myself a summer challenge, I was going to do a picture for each event sort of thing last year, but failed as I forgot all about it. But this year, I'm planning to get creative and make a cute portfolio. This book pictured here is the nicest book I've got, and I don't want to create a diary, or make lists in it, I wanted to make it the summer of 2015 book. I've started it already, with a couple of failed poster painted pictures, but I want to continue this on through the summer and continue to be inspired. I might even make it a little scrapbook of memories, who knows. A painting here, a page of pictures there.

That leads on to my next thing, I want to explore London (as I said in my S/S bucket list here) and with that, I'm going to take photographs. And then make a portfolio/scrapbook and get my creativity out. I know I said to my parents I just want money for my 18th, but I think I'll change my mind and ask for a Canon camera. The better one, because I can't use my dad's one as it has no preview on the screen, and I'm one of those weird people that can't squint and look through the hole to take a photo. I just aim generally at the subject and snap and hope for the best. So, hi mum if you're reading this, I want a camera now.

Also, a side note, I'm not getting my beauty essentials today, like anyone cares, but I'll get them tomorrow. (Because I want to do a couple of reviews on them) And that's because my friend has invited me to Brighton with her family! Omg yess. Expect a nice little photo diary tomorrow.

Have I inspired you to make the most of the summer, or have you guys got exciting summer projects planned?
