My New Choker

Yesterday I went into New Look and spent a voucher I got for my birthday. I bought sandals (will be featured in another post), a ring and this choker. I've seen them all over tumblr over the past year, and I know my friend has one and I thought they looked so cool. But apparently they've been out for years and my mum even wore one when she was younger because Madonna used to wear one. *omg* I bought this one for £3 which I think is a good bargain compared to ones I saw in other shops - and looked they looked pretty tacky.

This one has a gold pendant which I think completes the look, as I didn't want a plain black one. I haven't worn any necklaces in a good year because I don't like them hanging down. Am I weird? But seeing as this just goes around your neck, it seemed perfect. Hence the name, when you first put it on, it kind of feels like it's choking you because it goes around your throat but you get used to it, and then the feeling's just there in the background as you carry on with your day.

I'm very happy with my purchase and I'm going to try to wear this every day. They make you look so cool with any outfit you wear. #SoTumblr. And if mine breaks, I know they're being sold for £1 as well in New Look. And if they've been in for this long, I'm sure they won't go out quite yet...
