August Favourites

August was a joy wasn't it? (No hint of sarcasm here whatsoever) And now as we're entering into the colder months, I can now look forward to having hot chocolate and a big warm fluffy duvet. I've been into a few things this month and they can be mainly pinned down to TV shows and Lush products. I'm publishing this earlier than I like because I can't wait to write this, so I'd better get into it...

Supernatural Season Five:

I took a break after finishing season four because of my exams, so after I got back from America, I bought the season five DVD straight away and got stuck in. I'm very nearly finished and I love the show so much that (1.) I have a Supernatural shirt and (2.) I'm experiencing vivid dreams of being a hunter with the brothers. If you haven't started watching it, you need to asap.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm:

Bit of a random one here, but my baby lips finished last month and I didn't want to pay £3 for something that didn't do much again. Knowing Palmer's as a brand is amazing, I got the lip balm for £1 something and the quality is so much better. My lips are so much softer in a day and it doesn't take long before dry lips are soft enough to have a beautiful MAC lipstick on them.

Lush Veganese Conditioner:

One of the best conditioners ever, with the lemon oil and seaweed, my hair has never felt smoother. A second close is American Cream, but once I finished that pot, this will be an instant repurchase. As a serious Lushie, it's no surprise that I would be in love with the hair products haha.

Starbucks Discoveries:

I picked up one of the little pots last week for £1 and decided to see what the fuss was about. It was the caramel macchiato and it was super sweet but also really nice. I preferred it to another iced coffee I got from the supermarket and I would get it again, but I do prefer the fresh Starbucks from the shop.

Barry M Speedy Quick Dry Nails:

I actually love these nail paints and I was happy to buy them from Boots earlier this month. They're perfect for the summer and I love both colours, as always I think Barry M is a really good brand generally for nail paints. I did a review on them here if you want to read more.
