A Spooky Lush Halloween

-- Get in the Halloween mood with these bath time treats --

I felt like I needed to inject some spookiness into my blog because it seems that most of the shops have forgotten about Halloween and are focusing on Christmas. I am excited but not that excited just yet... So, I decided to treat myself to two of Lush's Halloween products before it's too late. I didn't get anything last year as I was more excited about the Bonfire Night products, but this year, I thought it was time to indulge.

I picked up the Nightwing Shower Jelly which is the first jelly I've used from Lush. He doesn't look as new because as bad blogger etiquette I've used him already and he had an accident and ripped. Oops. But that was my fault as I was too eager to use him hehe. For spookiness, he has the scent of a fruit pastille with aloe vera and lime juice. One thing I will say, it's easy to lather but hard to hold. As you know a jelly is slippery and wobbly and I dropped it twice. It's a cute design of a bat and the scent is really nice and I'm most looking forward to see how long he lasts. Apparently you can put him in the fridge or freezer as well, so I might try that.

The other product I got was the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar which contains juniperberry, lime and grapefruit oils. It's one of the cutest things ever. Again, sorry for the state in the picture but I used it last night and let me tell you, it was amazing. I've never seen so many bubbles from such a small piece of bubble bar! The glitter doesn't really appear in the water which is kind of good in my opinion, but the colour and smell is really nice and it helped me to feel relaxed from a long day at work.

I never bought the Lord of Misrule bath bomb or shower cream, but they look really cool and I'll probably pick them up with some spare change that I have. But even when my jelly broke and was hard to hold, it was fun to use and I can't wait to get a second use out of him. And the bubble bar I think is a little overlooked from the Christmas range, so please give them some love and get spooky this October! *Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo*

Have you guys picked up any Halloween Lush products?

  2. I always find Lush's shower jellies so hard to work with because they slip everywhere but I was very tempted by Nightwing! Loved Sparkly Pumpkin too, oh and if you get the chance do get a Lord of Misrule, so amazing! x
