July Favourites

-- Another month's loves --

Once you get paid, you know it's that time of the month when you can write about everything you've been loving for the month. This one's mainly about beauty bits but I think it's fair to say each and every product is worth being in this post yay! I've actually been sticking to a budget this month and I'm quite proud of myself, but I'm hoping I won't go crazy in spending in August haha. We'll see what comes in next month's favourites, but first, let's get this one of the way - Enjoy!

001: Soap & Glory Wonderbronze:
Straight up, this is one of my favourite bronzers ever and I've been wearing it to death all month. It contains beautifully tanned tones with highlighting pigments, which give a wonderful glow to my face. I think I'll be forever in love with this and I hate to say it, but it might even be better than the Hoola.

002: Sleek Highlighting Palette in Solstice:
Sticking to highlighting products, I've been obsessed with this amazing highlighting palette. It's so good with cream and powder highlighters, you won't even need to fork out money for the likes of Hourglass or MAC. Plus, the packaging is just gorgeous and one of the best products in the drugstore yay.

003: Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Makeup Remover:
In the end I didn't get on with Sanctuary Spa version as I found my eyes would feel gunky and oily afterward, but this one has been a life saver. It's not too harsh and perfect for sensitive eyes, and even though it's cheaper, it does a better job. Waterproof mascara is so much easier to take off now! I always use this before taking the rest of my makeup off and it's so much quicker and kinder to my eyes now.

004: NYX Dark Circle Concealer in Fair:
I'm not going to ramble on about it, as I've raved about this product and NYX in this post here. But all I will say not to bore you guys is that the orange tone actually counteracts the blue in my genetic dark under eyes - and makes the perfect base for my lighter and thicker concealer. It's a win win and I'm so glad I had the impulse to pick it up.

005: NYX White Eye Liner:
This has the longest name ever, but this lives up to it. It's like a crayon and creates a perfect pigmented line which is perfect for creating cat eye flicks woo hoo. Even though it's not great going over glittery eyeshadow, I think it's a unique way to pair it with nude matte colours.

006: Tanya Bakes:
I've never been so obsessed with a baking book before, but Tanya delivers 5 star recipes in her own baking book. The photos are so professional and gorgeous and the recipes themselves are so easy. I've made loaves, muffins, cakes and cookies from them so far, each has come out perfect and I can't wait to bake more! If you want to see me actually film a baking video in the future, do comment below!
