Just A Few Reasons Why I Love Beauty So Much

I've been wearing makeup since I was 16, I'm now 20 and that's a good four years. Holy moly. And I hope I've improved the art in recent years haha.

If you've been reading my blog for ages, you'll probably know that I've found products that I absolutely LOVE and others that I wish I never spent money on...

But one thing it really comes down to, is the fact that it's the only thing I'll happily spend money on. (Aside from Lush of course!) And why the hell not write a whole post on why I love beauty so much!


001: You can get as colourful and creative as you want! Want to be a rainbow queen or channel a summer goddess? There's so many colours in eyeshadows, lipsticks and even highlighters that you can use - the possibilities are endless! Golds, purples and now peaches are in! Throw all the colours at me and let me create something fun...

002: There's so many options in the drugstore now for affordable looks! Long gone are the days when makeup in Superdrug was practically 'play makeup' and now there's makeup to rival high end. Hello NYX Cosmetics and Soap and Glory!! It's now so much easier to slay the world.

003: Putting on makeup is actually the best kind of ritual! When I am in the mood, as I'm sure is the same with you guys too, I love the whole act of putting on makeup. Applying primer, blending in foundation, adding highlighter and creating eyeshadow looks. Even filling in my brows is one of my favourite steps. And I'm glad over the years I've got more experienced so I have more products to use yaaay.

004: Beauty can make you even more confident! It's good to love the skin you're in - and I'm very lucky to have the skin I have. But when I put some makeup on, I feel like I can take on the world (and a good few selfies). I think there's just something about my foundation giving me more colour and covering up my dead sloth under eyes.
