A Few Favourite Things I Love About December

It's the season of Christmaaas

The festive season is upon us. And even though I am typing this way earlier than this post is being published, welcome my friends to the first day of Blogmas!! *sleigh bells ring out*

Now that December is finally here, you can bet I'll be opening my first door on my chocolate advent calendar. What's the build up without one? I also have a few other favourite things that I want to share with you guys! And that's not just including advent calendars...

  • It's socially acceptable to blast out Christmas music. Even though I've been doing it since October... Yay for Michael Buble and Wizzard!
  • Indulgent hot chocolates make a come back. All you need is a big mug (preferably Cath Kidston) filled with hot chocolate covered with cream, marshmallows and chocolate powder. Nom nom nom.
  • The month calls for a trip to Winter Wonderland. It's a tradition for me. I gather all my friends and we go for a fun day in Hyde Park - complete with rides and festive food.
  • Lush Christmas baths all day and every day. Ok not quite, but in the build up you're going to want to chuck that Golden Wonder in to get into the spirit of the season... right?
  • All the cute Christmas markets start appearing. Well, the few that show up like that one in Leicester Square. Of course you can travel to one in the UK and not just stay in London. Or go to the traditional ones in Europe!
  • Days out in London taking pictures of Liberty London and Covent Garden. Taking all the pics for my instagram festive theme fills my heart with happiness. All the Christmas trees and nutcrackers. Wooo.
  • Having special Christmas coffee and cake at Peggy Porschen. I mean, I've not been there for Christmas yet but I'm hoping I can go with a blogger friend and we can part with all our money together. (While taking pics of snowflake covered coffee of course)
  • We can eat our body weight in festive snacks. Treeselets, twiglets, mini cheddars. You name it. I'm eating it. Even those trays full of pretzels and those tasty puffy nibbles you only seem to get in Lidl...
  • Everyone's doing Blogmas/Vlogmas. What better way than to spread cheer for the season through the medium of vlogging and blogging? I'm all over it. And I can't wait to see what you guys are doing too!

What do you guys love about December?

I haven't put on Christmas music yet but I will be shuffling a playlist and listen to Christmas songs whilst in the office this morning! I walk past Liberty London everyday for work and it is so festive. Around Oxford Circus is the most festive place to be I think! I am excited to see all of your future Blogmas content to come. I am excited to publish all of my posts!!
