A Perfect Scrub For A Perfect Weekend

-- A fittingly spicy fragranced scrub to blend
in with the upcoming autumn season --

Today I'm excited to say I'm going to Brighton (which I'll be taking pictures of for the blog) and I thought what better way to start the day than with this scrub. It's such an ironic name: the breakfast scrub, because I don't eat breakfast and I used this first thing in the morning haha. It's from the amazing Soap & Glory brand and I bought it in a little spree the other day. (I filmed a haul for that but once I work out how to export videos on Premiere Pro that's actually good quality, you might not see it for a while...) The Award Winning Smoothie Star is what caught my eye and it's absolutely massive for £8.

Can I just say you don't know hard it is to take a picture of this tub on a small chopping board. These were the best shots... Anyway, it has loads of ingredients that sound amazing together, but I wouldn't eat together. Oats, shea butter, sugar, organic capuaca bio scrubs, bananas, almonds and honey. Ok, that's a lot, but all together it makes the most beautiful scent. Spicy, warm and it reminds me of pumpkin spice lattes from Starbucks, but it's not too sickly. I could inhale it in all day, but I won't.

This will hopefully be my staple for the coming months, but I think I'll add in the Lush scrubs because I don't want to grow tired of using it. It's so big (again I mention the size) that it'll probably last till January on a good run. I would advise you to get it now if you're not a big fan of candles - irrelevant but the scent reminds me of a candle. It doesn't make your skin go red when you rub it in and it washes off and leaves super soft skin. Which is what I want in a scrub. Generally a must have.

Have you tried any of Soap & Glory's scrubs?
