Hipster Coffee At Palm Vaults

Cute hanging plants. Check. Pastels and marble interior. Check. Amazing coffee. Check. I met up with the super lovely Victoria (vvnightingale - go over to her blog because it's such a joy to read!) and we ventured to Palm Vaults in Hackney, East London. It's a hipster hang out full of plants, books and pastel coloured coffees. Yep that's right! You can get PASTEL COLOURED COFFEES!!! Victoria was telling me all about it before and by the looks of all the Instagram photos, we HAD to go there...

You're first met outside with a palm tree and the coolest exterior ever. Perfect for outfit opportunities which I took full advantage of. And the interior is just as instagrammable - and bloggerble - which got me screaming inside! We ordered our drinks first: Victoria got a pink latte and I got a cappuccino because I had to mix things up a bit from my usual lattes haha. Then, we chose the table and of course the marble one caught our eye out of the white and pink ones. I quite loved the chairs, but I ended up with the lowest one haha.

Ok, the actual coffee. Mine was actually really nice and reminded me of Timberyard coffees which isn't too bitter nor too sweet. It's the perfect coffee from a beautiful coffee shop. Victoria's (well, she'll probably tell you on her blog) apparently tasted like beetroot - which is what they put in to make it taste like red velvet - but she didn't get any hint of that. While when I took a sip... all I got was a hint of nuts. What even is my taste buds??

In all, I LOVE Palm Vaults and I would go there again with another friend. I have a certain someone in mind who's been to Timberyard with me hi hi. It's ridiculously cool and I keep staring at the photos and just wishing for that cappuccino again. Just go there whenever you get the chance is all I say!
