New Beauty Products I Picked Up Recently

Just a few treats...

This week as I was on holiday, and I had some spare cash left over from my monthly budgeting, I thought I would buy myself a few new products to try out. Because let's face it, I have neglected the beauty reviewing side of my blog... I'm quite pleased with what I picked up, so without further ado, here's everything that I picked up. I'll be reviewing all of these fully over the next few days/weeks - also there's a video up on my channel of the haul which I'll put at the end of this post!

001: Simple Dual Effect Eye Makeup Remover:
This one was an essential. I couldn't find my beloved original one from the brand, but seeing as this is new, I presume it's replacing the current one. Containing water and oil, which you shake and then press onto a pad, I really hope it does the job and doesn't make my eye lids feel oily...

002: Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara:
Having tried the other two in the range (the gold and silver packaged ones) I had to try the original and see how it compares. The large spooly looks perfect for creating volume and extreme black on the lashes is defo my thing.

003: Makeup Revolution Fortune Favours The Brave Palette:
My favourite drugstore brand at the moment - apart from NYX - have collaborated with BritishBeautyBlogger to create a gorgeous iridescent palette of metallic and smokeable shades. I'm literally SOO excited to give this a real go and tell you guys what I think. I mean, it looks so beautiful I can't even.

004: Tanya Burr Nail Paints in Little Duck and Piggy Bank:
I had to replace my original Little Duck paint as it went gloopy - I had it for a couple of years so... - and I thought trying one of Tanya's matte paints would be a real treat. Piggy Bank is a lovely nudey muted pink and I can't wait to have a pamper evening and put it on my nails.

005: Sleek Makeup Colour Corrector Palette:
Having struggled with dark under eyes and weird tiny red spots since forever, this new addition to the brand seemed right up my street. I can't help thinking that it looks like a paint palette hehe, but I'm hoping the bright colours are able to counteract the imperfections on my face. *Fingers crossed*

006: Sleek Makeup Cream Concealer Palette:
Last but not least, I thought it was about time I tried a cream contour palette. And seeing as Sleek have been impressing me for years, (and of course their highlighting palettes are to die for!) I knew I had to pick this one up. Let's hope I can slay with this!
