Some makeup inspiration for the big celebration
I showed you guys at the beginning of the month my every day winter makeup. Today I'm switching it up and offering some inspo for party makeup that can be easily achieved if you're going for the warming sparkly eye look. This look is so versatile and my own inspiration for this came from the traditional red and gold colours of Christmas - and I also thought of crackling fires in the winter.
I usually go for a nude lip but this time I opted for a metallic lip that kind of matched my eyes. I think it create a cool effect. The lipstick itself is from Barry M Matte Me Up range in the colour Prestige and is amazing quality and is super comfortable on the lips.
For eyes, the whole look was created with the Makeup Revolution Soph X palette. Which has been my favourite since forever. Ok, not quite but since I raved about it in this post here. I put Pumpkin all over my lid, then used Danger in the outer corner and crease.
I then went a bit out there (well, for me I did haha) and put concealer over the inner corner to block out a section of my eye and applied Sparks Fly - a super pretty metallic gold. This made it look more opaque and then I blended out the edges with Pumpkin again. Lastly, with Pumpkin, Danger and Sparks Fly on my lower lash line, I added Fairy Lights in my inner corner to finish the look.
All together I just think the look is quite striking and I didn't realise but it matched my hair haha. For my base I used my usual Rimmel Wake Me Up in Ivory, Seventeen Wow concealer in Fair and all the other usual products. The only different one I used to make this look extra special was the Makeup Revolution Unicorns Heart highlighter which is pigmented, it's definitely one to whip out for special occasions. Like Christmas! (Sadly you can't see it in my pics but I promise you it is there!)
Have you guys planned your Christmas makeup?
