Summer Beauty Edit

All things pastel and bright

Summer *may not* be officially here according to the fact that the Summer solstice hasn't happened yet, buuut, it's June. SO in my eyes it's summer already.

If there's one beauty post that I'm always so stoked to do is the seasonal edits. Because I love the post titles I give them - I feel like I work for a cool popular magazine like Cosmopolitan.

Aaaand, it's a way to get me excited for the current climate. Except Winter if you put xmas aside.

I have a few old faves and a couple of new goodies to share with you guys, so read on for your summer beauty bag must haves wooo...

001: primark k-pop sugar rush eyeshadow palette:
For only £4, you really can't go wrong with this product. Not only are the shades themselves perfect for this time of year with the peachy and bright pastels, they are actually really pigmented. And the best thing, they have minimal fall out woo. Plus, it's cherry scented. I'm so OBSESSED with this, and you can read my full review on it here.

002: lush mint julips lip scrub:
Lips need looking after throughout the whole year, but this particular scrub with caster sugar and peppermint oils is a summery treat. It's so refreshing when you lick the excess off your lips, plus you'll also have soft smooth lips after - perfect for applying your fave coral or nude colour!

003: benefit hoola bronzer travel mini:
Not only is this amazing for applying over my base makeup and then going in with a killer highlighter for a glowing look, but wearing it alone without foundation is a game changer. It's pigmented but super easy to blend out without losing any colour! AND I've had this travel size for like two years and it's still going strong. £12.50 well spent.

004: impulse tropical beach and espresso body mist:
Aside from actual beauty products, you've got to be smelling good in the warmer months. And these new impulse sprays are actually amazing - this one is a firm fave and is basically summer in a bottle. They're more expensive than your average mist - going at £6.99 but you get 150ml so last longer than their other ones.

005: new look pure colour nail paints in nude and pastels:
New Look nail paints in general are pretty good and I don't know why I never tried them before. And nude shades that make your tan pop or bright pastels that create a cheerful party on your nails is what I've been loving right now! They dry quickly and last for at least a week. Summer is the time for ALL THE COLOURS!!
