Benefit High Beam Highlighter

-- It's your time to shine!! --

Last week I decided to spend £19.50 on the Benefit High Beam highlighter. This was due to my desire of not only contouring like a pro with the Seventeen contour kit, but also have razor sharp highlight to up my game. And in all honesty, it's safe to say I didn't waste £20 on this product. *wipes brow in relief*

This reminds me of a nail polish as it comes with the sort of brush that you would expect for nails but it's actually really good for applying the highlight. I generally just keep to the top of my cheekbones and brow bone and both create the desired effect. Even though it's small, just a minuscule amount actually packs a punch which I'm really impressed with - as you would think and I paid quite a bit!

I'd say this is a really good buy, as I want to try different high end products but only ones that I generally think would give better quality than the drugstore. And the High Beam would be one of them as it blends in so easily but it's pretty noticeable and lasts all day. Even though it has a pink tint, I don't think it looks as pink when applied. I was a bit wary it would be and make me look like I had a permanent shiny blush. A perfect addition to my everyday routine - Benefit you have sold me over once again. Now the real test is to see how long it lasts....

Have you guys tried the Benefit highlighter?

    1. that's great if it's a good alternative but I don't really like buying from the body shop anymore - I feel like I'm betraying my beloved lush haha

  4. This is one of the most gorgeous highlighters I've ever tried! I also like the fact that it doesn't actually look pink as you apply it. It's also great that it just adds a bit of light and that it's not too glittery! :)
